Division Mechanical Assemblies

Within the  Mechanical Assemblies division , the Motherson Aerospace Group’s mechanical expertise is expressed through the three business sectors of aerospace, defense and adjacent sectors.

Motherson Aerospace Mechanical Assemblies provides:

  • Machining and combined turning / milling.
  • Dimensional and three-dimensional control.
  • Plasma spraying (metallic and thermal barrier).
  • Cleaning/ Stripping: detergent or chemical before welding.
  • Assembly:  TIG welding, plasma (including a robotic installation), laser.
  • Associated non-destructive tests: radiography (including a robotic installation), penetrant inspection.
  • One type of heat treatment: stress relieving under argon atmosphere.
